Tom Selleck
Role: Dr. Richard Burke
His parents are Robert and Martha Selleck. His father
Robert Selleck, who was born in Slovakia, is Tom’s tie to Eastern Europe.
Robert is now a real estate investor for Selleck Properties. His mother
was a homemaker. Tom was one of three of the Selleck's sons. He grew up in
Detroit, and attended college at the University of Southern California. He
was in the Sigma Chi Fraternity. He was once quoted as saying, “Those were
friends I made that will last a lifetime.” His first intentions of going
to college were to be an architect. He love to draw and had a very
creative mind. But regardless of what he wanted to do, he wouldn’t be an
architect. You see, he waited to long to go to college. He drug around
because he didn’t want to leave home. When he finally did leave, he
arrived too late at the University of Southern California, and the School
of Architecture was already filled to its capacity. He was heartbroken.
Since the careers were in alphabetical order, he just went over to the
next table and signed up for the School of Acting. He soon found out that
he had exceptional amounts of natural ability, and his ambition to become
a famous Hollywood actor developed from there. He had dreams of making
millions of dollars on the big screen.

Christine Pickles was born on February 17, 1935 in
Yorkshire, England, UK. Some information says she was born in 1940, however
there are several reports saying she made he debut on Broadway in 1941. And
it is much more believable that she did this at age 6 then at one year of
age.
Christine changed her name to Christina, and is a naturalized U.S. citizen.
Cristina has played everything from Ibsen and Chekhov to Pirandello and
Moliere in New York during the 60s. She started doing TV soaps and guest
comedy roles in the mid-70s. She appeared in the famous “Guiding Light” soap
opera as Linell Conway from 1970 to 1972. But to the younger audience she is
perhaps best known as Ross & Monica quick quipping mother in NBC’s hit,

on from there to appear in countless Movies and TV shows, his most notable
TV appearances are as phobes brother in friends and his appearance in My
Name Is Earl . His Film credits include Saving Private Ryan and Gone In
Sixty Seconds . He is best friends with fellow Saving Private Ryan Star

Lauren Tom was raised in Highland Park, Illinois as
part of the only Asian family in a largely Jewish neighborhood. She
started as a dancer with the Hubbard St. Dance Company and at 18 moved to
New York to perform in "A Chorus Line" on Broadway. She has also performed
on Broadway in "Hurlyburly" and "Doonesbury" and in numerous plays at the
New York Shakespeare Festival including "American Notes" for which she
received an Obie Award. She has worked with directors Peter Sellars and
Joanne Akalaitis at the Goodman Theater, The Guthrie Theater, La Jolla
Playhouse and the Kennedy Center. Film credits include "The Joy Luck
Club," "Cadillac Man," "Mr. Jones" and "When A Man Loves a Woman." On
television she recently had a recurring role as Ross' girlfriend, Julie,
on "Friends." Lauren's writing credits include "Tiger on the Right" for
which she won a DramaLogue Award in 1991.
Lauren Tom writes and performs in her solo-performance show "25 Psychics,"
which is a look at her own life as a self-professed "New Age Seeker." She
has done everything from growing her own fungus to fire-walking in her
quest, ultimately discovering her own grandmother as a source of wisdom
and comfort. The humor at the heart of the work rests in the similarities
and differences between herself and the powerful family matriarch
underscoring our own difficulties as creatures from (if not of) a
tradition while still living in the modern world. Tom portrays a host of
characters including a few of the title's psychics who she meets along the
way to becoming her own woman.
Tom is a featured performer with Great Leap's productions of "A Slice of
Rice" and "A Slice of Rice, Frijoles and Greens."
